Deltaklumen is a privately held real estate agency headquartered on Oginga Odinga Street in Kisumu, Kenya's third-largest city and the commercial centre of the Lake Victoria region. Founded in 2016, the firm specialises in four service lines: residential and commercial property sales, managed rentals, independent property valuations, and investment consulting for buyers and developers active in the western Kenya market. Our clients include first-time homebuyers in Milimani, landlords managing rental portfolios from other cities, corporate tenants requiring leased office or residential space during Kisumu postings, and investors assessing land or mixed-use development opportunities along the Lake Victoria corridor. We serve clients who value documented process and clear communication over high-volume, low-touch brokerage. Our work is concentrated in Kisumu County and the immediately adjacent areas; we do not operate as a national agency and we do not take mandates in markets where we lack current, verified transaction data.

The Deltaklumen team currently comprises eight full-time staff: two registered valuers, three property advisers with combined Kisumu market experience exceeding twenty-two years, one tenancy manager, and two support staff. Every new property mandate is reviewed by at least two team members before it enters the portfolio — a deliberate check that prevents single-adviser blind spots from reaching clients. Our slate-professional approach means clean documentation, direct communication, and a preference for written confirmations over verbal agreements. We follow up every client meeting with a written summary of what was discussed and what the next step is. Where results depend on factors we do not control — Lands Registry processing times, a tenant's future payment behaviour, or property market conditions in twelve months — we say so explicitly and do not substitute optimism for accuracy. We completed over 140 property transactions between 2016 and 2024, and our repeat-client rate across all service lines currently stands at 58%, which we consider a more honest measure of service quality than any testimonial we could select ourselves.
